THE PRACTICE
Every morning we will meet on the mat for a dynamic mat Pilates class where we create space in your body, in your mind, and in your movement. As we flow through each exercise, focus on how the breath can help you find length and openness in every muscle, and how each movement can help you feel more centered. Let’s move with intention, allowing space to be created not only in our bodies, but also in our minds. Be present, be fluid, and most importantly, enjoy the flow of your practice! Every moment on the mat is an opportunity to listen, adjust, and build strength from a place of awareness.
In the afternoon we will get together on the mat again for a relaxing practice which can be a deep yin yoga class, meditation or breath work.
THE FOOD
At Els Igols, enjoy the amazing flavors of Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and organic products whenever possible.
After the morning practice we will enjoy a delicious brunch prepared by our private chef. Expect freshly baked bread, homemade jams and juices, eggs, local cheese and much more!
In the afternoon we will serve a light snack to give you a boost of energy for the evening practice.
A delicious dinner is served in the evening. Our chef will be using as many local ingredients as possible. Spanish Paella packed with flavor, refreshing Gazpacho, the best olives and traditional dishes like Escalivada and Tortilla de Patata.
If you have any dietary preferences or restrictions, please let me know and we'll make sure the chef prepares something special just for you.
THE VENUE
Mas Els Igols is a beautifully decorated 18th-century Catalonian farmhouse. It sits among the vineyards of Penèdes, just an hour South of Barcelona and is only a 30 minute drive from the Mediterranean beaches of Catalonia, such as Sitges, Vilanova, Calafell and Cubelles. The farmhouse offers 7 spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. There is a beautiful light-filled yoga shala, and an outdoor yoga deck shaded by a giant fig tree. There's also a saltwater pool with a lounge area, perfect for relaxing with a drink or a good book.
HOW TO GET HERE
You can reach Mas Els Igols by train or bus from Barcelona city or by car.
The train ‘R4’, which leaves twice an hour, will take you from the city center of Barcelona (Plaza Catalunya) to Vilafranca del Penedès in one hour. From Vilafranca you can take a taxi (roughly 20 min drive for 30€) or hop on the local bus ‘Igualadina’ (direction Pontons). From the bus stop, near the gas-station ‘Benzinera de Sant Marti’, it is only a 1500m walk to the farm house.
Another option is to take a taxi from Barcelona airport or Barcelona city center. The ride will cost about a €120. If you wish to share the ride with others let me know beforehand so you can share the cost.
If you’re arriving in a rental car you can park it at the farm.

PRICING
Shared room - €1200/€1300
A spacious room, featuring two or three separate single beds. Each room is uniquely designed and includes an en-suite bathroom, floor heating and biodegradable shampoo and body wash.
Single room - €1500
A spacious room for 1 person with a queen-sized double bed. Each room is uniquely designed and includes an en-suite bathroom, floor heating and biodegradable shampoo and body wash.
Please note that there is limited availability for each room type.
Payment, Refund and Cancellation policy
To secure your spot for the retreat, you will pay a deposit of € 500. Once the deposit is paid, your booking is guaranteed. The rest of the payment is due 2 months before the retreat takes place.
The deposit is non-refundable
If you cancel more than 1 month before: No deposit refund.
If you cancel less than 1 month before: No refund of neither deposit nor the remaining amount paid. IF however, you or myself find someone to take your spot, you’ll be refunded the full amount, incl. the deposit.
If Move with Nikky cancels the retreat for business reasons, meaning that I decide to cancel, for example, due to not enough participants or a personal illness - you’ll get a full refund, including the deposit.
If Move with Nikky must cancel a retreat for any unforeseen reasons (war, pandemics, covid-19, lockdown, acts of terrorism, strikes, travel bans, natural disasters etc.) your deposit will not be refunded but will be transferrable to a future Move with Nikky retreat within 2 years. IF you’ve paid any further amount (above the deposit) you can choose to get a refund or transfer it to a future Move with Nikky retreat (subject to availability) within 2 years.
If Move with Nikky must postpone the retreat due to any unforeseen reasons (war, pandemics, covid-19, lockdown, acts of terrorism, strikes, natural disasters etc.) the deposit will not be refunded but will be transferrable to a future Move with Nikky retreat within 2 years. IF you’ve paid any further amount (above the deposit) you’ll be offered to transfer this amount to the new dates or to a future Move with Nikky retreat within 2 years, or get a refund of the remaining amount.
NOTE: Move with Nikky is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed retreats, such as (but not limited to) airline tickets, loss of work, visa fees, and/or other costs associated with your preparation for your trip. A travel insurance is advisable.
